Director of Training & Quality
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of Training and Quality plans, coordinates, and directs training programs for staff employees by performing the following duties and responsibilities either personally or through department trainers. In addition, the Director is accountable for ensuring staff employees are delivering quality workmanship and customer service.
- Oversee Training & Audit Staff - Develop testing and evaluation procedures. - Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training for staff members. - Develop and manage processes to insure consistency and accuracy of quality monitoring program - Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Make recommendations for immediate changes or further analysis by project - Confer with management to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes and other factors - Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. - Lead and manage company training/auditing team while collaborating with operations department managers. - Train assigned personnel in effective techniques for training and auditing - Maintain records and evaluate statistical reports to determine the performance of trainers and effectiveness of curriculum and the learning retention of employees
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience managing training and quality processes as well as direct reports in a production environment - Prior training and leadership experience a must - Proven data analysis and process improvement capabilities - Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff - Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical interpersonal and written/oral communication skills - Experience with Microsoft office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a growth oriented and time-critical environment EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ Years experience in Training & Development - 2+ years experience in Auditing - Background in Workers' Compensation insurance preferred and Medicare Set-Asides
